Licensing of medical practice
Pursuant to the current law of Ukraine “On licensing of different economic activities” dated 02.03.2015y. № 222-VIII, medical practice is subject to licensing.
License is an authorization-based document that grants the right to implement economic activity of the definite type.
Licensing is one of the main types of state control over the entrepreneurial activity.
Medical practice is an activity, connected with the complex of specified measures, directed at health improvement, improvement of sanitary culture, prevention of illnesses and disabilities, diagnostics, assistance to people with acute and chronic diseases, rehabilitation of patients and people with disabilities.
The license for medical practice is issued by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine under the condition of positive decision of licensing committee for unlimited term.

The process of registration of the license includes the following main stages:

| 3rd stage | If necessary: receipt of conclusion of sanitary and epidemiological expertise on compliance of the premises with sanitary norms, or other licensing documents, needed to form a license. |
| 4th stage | Formation of the application about licensing receipt + document package (records) for applying to MH of Ukraine. |
| 5th stage | Applying a statement + document package to MH of Ukraine. |
| 6th stage | Receipt of permission of licensing committee of MH of Ukraine. |
| 7th stage | Receipt of the invoice + payment of official invoice (state duty). |
| 8th stage | Receipt of the original of the license *. |
- Receipt of a license on a paper is not mandatory; data on licensees are listed in the appropriate registry. At the same time, you can get the document at the Center for Administrative Services of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (“Single Window”)
